I always carry the tools of sketch when I travel. The tools are a sketch-book, a palette, a brush, a pencil and a small bottle for water. That's all.

I make sketches when I have time before leaving a hotel in the morning or after arrival in the evening, and also when I have a break  during sight-seeing. When I travel with my wife, she usually go shopping while I sketch. So I have to finish my work in less than an hour. It is the limit for her to wait.

There are many objects for sketch in Europe. I always carry the tools of sketch and I often tried to sketch in the United States too. But usually it was difficult to find an object for sketch. In the United States everything is too big, too new and too bright for me to sketch. I prefer the European scenery on this point.
