Former Residence of the Iwasaki Family

This building was a residence of the Iwasaki family, the founder of the Mitsubishi Zaibatsu. I went there to sketch this building hearing that it was made open to  the public. The repair of the building was still under way at that time.

This building was designed by Josiah Condor, a famous British architect, and built in 1896.
